Coming prepared to Yoga lessons

1. Where to practice
In a quiet place (room, garden...). Find a place where you won't be disturbed during your practice.

2. What to wear
Comfortable clothes - Ensure you can stretch in your clothes.

3. What to have
An exercise mat, blocks or books, belt (sport or clothing belt), a cushion, a blanket.

4. When to eat
Try and avoid eating at least an hour before the session.
Drink water during your practice if you need to.
If you are hungry, you can eat a fruit or some nuts after your practice.

5. What to leave
- Your Ego. Practicing yoga involves non-judgement, compassion and resilience. Some days, you will be able to go further in terms of flexibility or simply to sit still for longer than your previous practice. And some days, it will feel as if you had never practiced. Cultivate patience. Yoga is a journey.

- Distractions. Leave anything that could distract you away (phone, tablets, TV etc.). Or simply put your devices on Plane mode.

6. What to bring
Your curiosity. Every practice is different. Notice how you feel during your practice. This could be joy, fear, content... Always welcome your feelings and remember that they don't define you.
